Family Pics

We got some family pictures taken a few weeks ago. I wasn't going to post them, but I can't really do anything with them till we move, and it's such a waste for them to sit around not being looked at.

Jeff's B-day/Father's Day/Anniversary

We went to the lake on Saturday. The only place we could find around here that allowed swimming and dogs was Utah Lake, so we went there. It was fun until I found out that people's dogs poop in there. I won't name Sadie's name, but I was mortified. After that I settled for sitting in a lawn chair and eating all of our snacks, and then going for a walk. Sadie had fun anyway. She learned to swim, and I was so proud.

This is Jeff showing off Sadie's tricks for everyone at the lake. I don't know when he's going to realize that no one is impressed with "sit".

So cute.

No title

Jeff does weird things in his sleep sometimes. Mostly talk and steal all the blankets. The night before last I woke up to him hovering over me, and I was like, "What's going on?" And then he just started making out with me. I was so confused. He pretends he's confused about the whole thing too, but I know he's not.

We've been going to the pool alot lately. At first when I typed pool I accidentally typed poop. We've also dealt with alot of poop. What with babies and dogs. I love the summertime. When it's warm and sunny outside the possibilities of what you can do in a day are endless. Sometimes I worry too much about sunburns and put sunscreen on Grace 3 or 4 times in an hour. Is that normal?

Things

The other day me and Jeff were talking about me being a stay at home mom, and instead of calling me a housewife he called me a housekeeper. Accident or reality? On my recent trip to Walmart I discovered steal cut oats. Now my life is truly blessed with oatmeal. On that same Walmart trip I stole some deodorant. I don't feel that bad about it. Yes, I'm going to go back and pay for it. Never go shopping with a stroller instead of a shopping cart. It's easier to see over the top of your load, but things will get stolen. Another word to the wise, don't ever read Water for Elephants. So many inappropriate things I feel like I just came from a strip club. Not that I know what it feels like to come from a strip club. Should I just remove that whole subject? I think having a homemade dessert in the house is what really makes a home. If I don't have pie in the fridge I might as well die.

We blessed Grace last weekend. And by we I mean Jeff. So sweet to see her up there with all those cute boys in her life around her. Never been prouder.

First trip to the pool. So cute.

I need my face in one of these

I'll pay someone to give me one of these cool header things with pictures and stuff. I don't know how much yet, because I haven't counted the change in my outmeal can for a while, and I have been stealing out of it, but I can tell you it will be at least three dollars.

I love my sweet dog

Grace decided to wake up at 5:00 this morning. That's fun. I tried to put her back to sleep for a while, and decided I might as well get up and do something, so I'm cooking breakfast. I love the smell of bacon early in the morning. And Sadie is faithfully laying by my side no matter how many times I get up and move. I think she got into some chocolate a couple days ago, and has been sick. We love her despite the diarrhea in almost every room of the house. We're happy to be moving soon, and leaving the carpet behind us.

Jeff will be starting another new job in 2 weeks. He got an offer for something he applied for before he started at Tai Pan, and decided to take it. I don't even know what the company is, but it pays a little better, and will give him some more experience with real estate. He pitched the idea to Tai Pan to have him keep working from home, part time doing their accounting, and then go to work full time for this new company and they're on board, so he'll now be doing both. He's also going to start working on his CPA next month. He's going to be super busy with work and studying for the next year or so. We love him and are so grateful for his hard work.

Grace is getting bigger and bigger. She has long outgrown her newborn clothes, and is even a little big for some of her smaller 0-3 mo. things. She's smiling a ton, and has started laughing a little bit. Sadie is loving her. She comes when she cries and always licks her toes. She's not sleeping quite as much during the day anymore. My moby has saved my life. Thank you Crystal! I don't know what I would have done without it!

Here's some recent pictures. The one at the gravesite is from last Sunday when we went to visit Darrik. Darrik is Jeff's older brother who died of a drug overdose almost 6 years ago. Jeff introduced Grace and we left some flowers.
