I need my face in one of these

I'll pay someone to give me one of these cool header things with pictures and stuff. I don't know how much yet, because I haven't counted the change in my outmeal can for a while, and I have been stealing out of it, but I can tell you it will be at least three dollars.

I love my sweet dog

Grace decided to wake up at 5:00 this morning. That's fun. I tried to put her back to sleep for a while, and decided I might as well get up and do something, so I'm cooking breakfast. I love the smell of bacon early in the morning. And Sadie is faithfully laying by my side no matter how many times I get up and move. I think she got into some chocolate a couple days ago, and has been sick. We love her despite the diarrhea in almost every room of the house. We're happy to be moving soon, and leaving the carpet behind us.

Jeff will be starting another new job in 2 weeks. He got an offer for something he applied for before he started at Tai Pan, and decided to take it. I don't even know what the company is, but it pays a little better, and will give him some more experience with real estate. He pitched the idea to Tai Pan to have him keep working from home, part time doing their accounting, and then go to work full time for this new company and they're on board, so he'll now be doing both. He's also going to start working on his CPA next month. He's going to be super busy with work and studying for the next year or so. We love him and are so grateful for his hard work.

Grace is getting bigger and bigger. She has long outgrown her newborn clothes, and is even a little big for some of her smaller 0-3 mo. things. She's smiling a ton, and has started laughing a little bit. Sadie is loving her. She comes when she cries and always licks her toes. She's not sleeping quite as much during the day anymore. My moby has saved my life. Thank you Crystal! I don't know what I would have done without it!

Here's some recent pictures. The one at the gravesite is from last Sunday when we went to visit Darrik. Darrik is Jeff's older brother who died of a drug overdose almost 6 years ago. Jeff introduced Grace and we left some flowers.

I just discovered following anonymously. That's so creepy. If anyone follows me anonymously you are dumb. You should be proud of your love for me.

P.S. Isn't my husband hot?

Mother's Day Weekend

On Mother's Day we went to sacrament meeting, and then skipped out early to visit Jeff's mom. She made food, and everyone took turns holding the baby.

My mom came over that night for dinner.

This is our favorite dress of Grace's. We got it before she was born, and she finally fits in it!

My opposite farmers tan I got at the Tulip Festival.

Mom: "Hey Natalie let's go look at some more Tulips."

Natalie: "NEVER!"

Mom: "Come sit next to me so we can get our picture taken."

Natalie: "NEVER!"

Natalie is a tree hugger

And cute Grace. The only one who didn't have to endure miles and miles of tulips. Fun for five minutes. Not for three hours.

Mom's have more fun

It was always fun to imagine being a mom, and lately I've been hearing from a lot of people that they want kids. This week I think Grace and I went through an average of 3 outfits a day. Yes, both of us. We sleep about 9-10 hours off and on, usually in a puddle of pee or spit-up. The bed gets peed on at least once a day. Sometimes I change the sheets, sometimes I don't. I eat nothing but ramen noodles, because I can make it with one hand. Sometimes I get pooped or peed on and if it doesn't leave a stain I don't change. Today at Target the checker asked me if I wanted a gift receipt for my baby items. I wonder how many spit up chunks I need on my neck before they'll stop asking me that. On Monday I finally got Grace to sleep, and got in the bath praying that she would keep sleeping long enough for me to wash my hair. She started whining during shampoo, so I hurried and rinsed and put in conditioner. Then Sadie noticed one of her toys on the side of the tub and climbed in to get it. Grace started screaming. Bath over. Having kids is fun.
