Valentines magic

Somebody called me this morning and asked me to substitute for their primary class tomorrow. Is this a punishment for saying some swear words yesterday?

So the other day Jeff told me that he was getting me something "risky" for Valentines Day. I was pleasantly surprised, because we don't usually celebrate Valentines Day. We think it's kind of lame, and if anything, I just give Jeff us gifts that I've been wanting for a while. Then yesterday when we were at Costco Jeff asked me if I wanted him to tell me what he was getting me, I was like, yeah tell me. That's how we do gifts in this family. And then he told me that he's getting me a Kindle Fire! I don't really know what that is, besides you can read books on it or something, but I'm super excited. I think he said that it has the internet. What? What the heck? Since when can you just have internet on everything?

We got a new T.V. when we moved to Grantsville, and since Jeff started his new job at Harmon he's been getting new theater equipment. His latest purchase was a blue ray player that also has internet or something. I don't understand. All I know is we watched like five movies last night, and we never even had to go to redbox. I felt guilty. Like I had been doing something really bad all night. I haven't had TV for so long that watching it now is weird to me. I kept getting up every few minutes to wash a bowl or put something away. Like how many productive things could I have done in the time it took us to finish a movie? And also, I can't sit still for very long. Plus, do you know how much porn I saw while I was browsing through movies? It's sad. Is this what everyone has in their homes all the time? Instant private access to nudies? I don't like it. I don't like TV and I don't like internet. I want to go back to the time when everyone lived in huts and scavenged for wild berries. Like Oregon Trail. But on beginner level.

Anyway, this is me in a few days.

Haha I'm glad he wasn't mispronouncing "risque" Kindle Fires are awesome. Fancy! And we need to be hooked up with some of Jeffs home theater perks! :)
